Being the food lover that I am - I have noticed many changes (for the better) from eating a healthier diet. When I start my day with either fresh fruit, or a bowl of hot oatmeal, or quinoa mixed with fruit and agave nectar, I feel complete and more optimistic about my day. When I used to eat more processed foods for breakfast; (such as cereal from a box, a cupcake, or even left over pizza) I would not really be satisfied and continue to crave food throughout the day. I have also added more fruit and nuts into my diet, specifically organic apples, bananas, and walnuts. These subtle changes have improved my quality of life. Without so much processed "junk", I am not as foggy-headed, and not constantly craving more food.
Smart Foods Healthy Kids has some really great recipes that leave you feeling good. I have enjoyed many of the new recipes so far and look forward to sharing samples with my classmates, family and friends, I am sure that once they taste them, they will be wanting more.
